Update~July 31st 2009

Hello Friends and Followers,

This has been a most difficult week. Jeff has been having chest pains, which in his condition is not a good sign. We are truly racing against time.

I would like to thank Mr. Harry Reese and his CPA for taking over our donations and accounting.

We can focus on Jeff and all of his needs. We want to give a special thank you to Mr. Reese. Harry is a prominent farmer in our hometown who has taken a special interest in helping our family during this crisis. Harry farms around a 1000 acres of corn and soybeans, along with raising his own cattle. Harry is an amazing gentleman who cares for his Family, Friends and Community. We Love Him!

Next week we will be taking a trip to Rochester Minnesota to visit the Hospital and seek out accommodations while Jeff is going through the process of a Heart Transplant. Between the testing and the transplant and the healing period after the transplant we are looking at close to two years. Relocating is not always the easiest task!

We are working on getting a Video of Jeff's Cardiologist. We are trying to find someone with a professional video camera. It has been suggested that due to all the scams online it would be in Jeff's best interest if we had Proof that he is dying and needs a new heart. This is Sad, but I do understand the need to show proof for the sake of my Son and his immediate needs.

Please continue to pray for Jeff.....this is going to be a rough ride in the next few years.

How Does Momma Cope

How do you cope with the fact your son may not make it. He may die. OMG....

Jeff has been having chest pains which is NOT GOOD, in his condition. It is a very bad sign. I am so scared. I try to be strong but the fear of loosing him is overwhelming. I try to keep busy with SaveMyDaddy campaign, now. It is just go difficult. Jeff is the heart of our Family and his death would be the death of us all. The silent rage inside of me keeps me fighting for all of us.

Jeff does not think he is going to make it and that is the hardest part of it all.

Asking for all who read this message to please light a healing candle in Jeff's behalf.

PRAY...

Thanks for listening...

Save My Daddy

Our Daddy is Dying. We have asked Mema to send out a special SOS for those that may be able to help him.

Hello,

Let me introduce you to My Son. He is a 34 year old father of two beautiful children who are about to loose their daddy. His heart is dying. J.W. Lively is fighting for his life while he is beginning the Heart Transplant process. We are asking for your support. This is hard for us to do, but it must be done.

Heart Transplants from beginning to end can cost close to one million dollars. Dr. J. Cookman has referred My Son to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. The cost of transportation, accommodations, medicine and general expenses are beyond our reach, at this time.

WE need to get Jeff to Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, as soon possible. Living Expenses, Medicines, Transportation, General Expenses are way out of our range, at this time. This is why WE have started, Save My Son Campaign and his Children have started, Saving My Daddy Campaign.

We are racing against time and a dying heart.

WE ask each of you to help in whatever way you can. It does not have to be just money. Prayers are welcomed, too!!

WE Are frightened beyond words~

Today, Our Daddy is, 34-year old white male, which at age 32, suffered a very large anterior wall myocardial infarction in February 2007. He underwent angioplasty and stent of that vessel and then two weeks later underwent repeat angioplasty and stent of the posterolaterial branch. He suffered another myocardial infarction on 3/01/09 when he presented with complete occlusion of the circumflex branch. The prior stent in the LAD was patent. He had another angioplasty and stent and required inotropic support with balloon pumping as well. He suffers now from a severe ischemic cadiomyopathy, and chronic congestive heart failure, with a 15% ejection fraction. Healthy individuals typically have ejection fractions between 50% and 65%.

According to Dr. Cookman, ‘This will be a lifelong condition for him and will require intensive medical therapy.

Jeff has had implantation of a permanent pacing defibrillator, shortness of breath, with three leaks in his values; this is a deadly combination, in itself.

According to Jeff’s Cardiologist, Dr. Joseph Cookman, who saved our Daddy twice, now, states; “I consider this patient completely and totally disabled and this will be a lifelong condition. I do not anticipate improvement in his left ventricular function enough that would change this recommendation.” Joseph J Cookman, DO

Jeff is now on oxygen. WE need to get him to Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, NOW!
